Appointments & Hours

In order to provide the highest quality of care, patients are seen by appointment only. We request that our patients give a minimum of 24 hours notice if unable to keep a scheduled appointment. A standard fee of $50 is charged for non-cancellation of an appointment and $100 for cosmetic patients.

Hours of operation
Monday through Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Prescription Refills

For prescription refills, please have your pharmacy call on weekdays during normal business hours.  Often, patients request prescription refills when they have not been in the office to be seen.  Legal and ethical constraints keep us from re-filling prescriptions when we have not had the opportunity to see a patient.  Remember, you health is our first priority.

Lab Results

Staff can provide results of lab studies and receive reports of your condition following procedures.

8.  What is a Physician's Assistant?

Physician Assistants are healthcare professionals licensed to practice medicine under the supervision of a physician.  As part of their responsibilities, Physician Assistants may conduct physical exams, provide counsel on preventative healthcare, and write prescriptions. Physician Assistants may also diagnose and treat illnesses, order and interpret lab tests and perform both surgical excisions and cosmetic procedures.

Physicians may delegate to Physician Assistants those medical duties that are within the physician’s scope of practice and the Physician Assistant’s training and experience.  As a result, Physician Assistants are able to provide many of the same medical and surgical services as a physician.

9.  How are Physician's Assistants Trained?

Applicants to Physician Assistant school must first have a Bachelor’s degree and prior healthcare experience.  The typical PA program, like other Master's Degree programs, is two or more years long.  Upon graduation, successful candidates receive a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies. After graduation, Physician Assistants take a national certification examination, developed by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants in conjunction with the National Board of Medical Examiners. To maintain their national certification, Physician Assistants must log 100 hours of continuing medical education every two years and take a recertification exam every six years. Graduation from an accredited physician assistant program and passage of the national certifying exam are required for state licensure.
